Tier 4 visas replace the UK student visa service and place more emphasis upon the responsibility of the educational body in question for the applicants they permit to study. The aim of this tier immigration service is to provide a more user-friendly, transparent route to studying in the UK.&lt;br /&gt;With the exception of tier 1 visas, which directly replace the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme or HSMP, all tier visas for the new system will require a certificate of sponsorship from the relevant sponsor. Nearly 900 management institutes all over the world (almost all of them in the US) require GMAT scores from each applicant. The GMAT tests the fundamental skills - Reasoning and Comprehension included - and does not require any subject-specific theoretical study.&lt;br /&gt;The test is designed in such a way that it would be unlike any other test you would have taken at school or college. First, the test has no question paper or answer sheets, nor does it have the same set of questions for all the examinees. Further, it does not give you the option of not answering a question (unless, of course, you run out of time at the end). All this because the GMAT is now an entirely Computer based test - the keyboard and mouse do the work of a pen or pencil. The test is scored out of 800 (in multiples of 10), and most scores fall in the range of 500-600. However, a score of even 800 is not unheard of!&lt;br /&gt;The GMAT test is only one of several parameters which the graduate schools look at to determine the selection of an applicant. A high score alone does not translate into an admission offer from a great school. But the test can be looked upon as the first major hurdle to be cleared in the process of getting admission into a B-school of your choice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Who administers the GMAT&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The GMAT test is developed and administered by the US-based Pearson VUE under the direction of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), a non-profit organization of graduate business schools worldwide. This implies that Pearson VUE conducts the test, and sends each examinee the score report. For the conduct of the test, Pearson VUE has appointed testing centers in various countries.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;When is the GMAT held&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;TAll-round-the-year. Unlike other exams, you can choose your own date and time for taking the GMAT! The test is administered in the above cities five-days-a-week (Monday through Friday), twice-a-day. September to December is the high season for GMAT, so in case you intend to take the test during this period, you need to register very early (say 90 days in advance) to get a date of your choice. Otherwise, registering at least 15 days in advance is mandatory. The GMAT test lasts roughly four hours, and most centres offer two slots : 9 A.M. and 2 P.M.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Eligibility and Fees&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Anyone and everyone is eligible for taking the GMAT - there are no restrictions based on age or qualifications. The test scores are valid for five years, i.e., most universities accept scores up to five years old. But it is always better if your scores are recent (not older than 2 years).&lt;br /&gt;The fee to take the Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT) is US$250 worldwide. You will incur taxes when you schedule an exam in certain countries.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Scoring Pattern in GMAT CAT&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;The GMAT test results comprise four different scores : a total score (which is the combined verbal and quantitative scores), a separate Verbal score, a separate Quantitative score, and an Analytical Writing score. The total score is reported on a scale from 200 to 800. The Verbal and Quantitative Scores are reported on a scale of 0 to 60. For the AWA score, the scale is from 0 to 6. Note that your AWA performance is not reflected in your total GMAT score (on 800). You get to know your total, verbal, and quantitative score immediately after taking the test. The course is designed to suit the requirements of officers/executives engaged in the management of marketing functions such as sales, distribution, advertisement and sales promotion, customer relations, export etc. The programme encourages to develop knowledge and skill necessary to carry out the marketing management functions effectively and efficiently.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science&lt;br /&gt;The diploma course in Computer Science is designed to suit the requirements of those who wish to develop their career as Computer Professionals. This will help any one to fit in the relatively newer computer related corporate positions, e.g., Systems Analyst, Information Manager, Database Administrator, etc. The programme will also benefit persons occupying traditional functional areas, because they will acquire the necessary know-how to work in computer environment, and thus help in bringing about the desired improvement of their respective organizations. BIM has been offering this course since 1994.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#3333ff;"&gt;Admission Criteria&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Graduates in any subject (2 years after H.S.C or 4 years after S.S.C) from a recognized university, college or institution are eligible for admission. Persons having diploma in any branch of engineering subsequently having completed AMIE are also eligible to apply.&lt;br /&gt;Interested participants need to apply in the prescribed form along with attested copies of certificates/testimonials, and 2 copies of passport size photographs. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Applications should reach the Chairman, Executive Committee of Diploma Courses, BIM, 4, Sobhanbag, Mirpur Road, Dhaka-1207 within the specified time.&lt;br /&gt;Admission forms may be obtained from BIM offices personally or by mail enclosing a Taka six stamp affixed pre-addressed envelope. The rooms are usually shared with another candidate and are adequately furnished. All rooms have an attached bathroom. It is intended to help the graduate schools (of all fields other than business) assess the potential of applicants for advanced study . Nearly 2300 universities in the US require GRE® scores from each applicant. The GRE tests the fundamental skills - Reasoning and Comprehension included - and does not require any subject-specific theoretical study. (This is true only for the General GRE Test, and not the GRE Subject, which is required by certain universities. In this section, we mean the General GRE Test whenever we refer to the GRE Test)&lt;br /&gt;The test is designed in such a way that it would be unlike any other test you would have taken at school or college. First, the test has no question paper or answer sheets, nor does it have the same set of questions for all the examinees. Further, it does not give you the option of not answering a question (unless, of course, you run out of time at the end). All this because the GRE Test is an entirely Computer based test - the keyboard and mouse do the work of a pen or pencil. The test is scored out of 1600 (in multiples of 10).&lt;br /&gt;The GRE Test is only one of several parameters which the graduate schools look at to determine the selection of an applicant. A high score alone does not translate into an admission offer from a great school. But the test can be looked upon as the first major hurdle to be cleared in the process of getting admission into a Graduate school of your choice.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#3333ff;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;When is the GRE Test held&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;All-round-the-year. Unlike other exams, you can choose your own date and time for taking the GRE Test! The test is administered in the above cities five-days-a-week (Monday through Friday), twice-a-day. September to December is the high season for GRE Test, so in case you intend to take the test during this period, you need to register very early (say 90 days in advance) to get a date of your choice. Otherwise, registering at least 15 days in advance is mandatory. The test lasts roughly three-and-a-half hours, and most centres offer two slots : 9 A.M. and 2 P.M.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name="Eligibility and Fees"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#3333ff;"&gt;Eligibility and Fees&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone and everyone is eligible for taking the GRE Test - there are no restrictions based on age or qualifications. The test scores are valid for five years, i.e., most universities accept scores up to five years old. But it is always better if your scores are recent (not older than 2 years).&lt;br /&gt;Test fees for GRE Test may vary according to the country in which you take the test. In India, this fee is US $140 (approx Rs. 7000), payable at the time of registration. You cannot pay in Indian Rupees. The fees has to be paid through a US Dollar denominated draft, made out in favour of "ETS - GRE" payable in the U.S. Such a draft is usually available with the Main Branches of most banks (which have a foreign exchange counter) in most of the big cities for a nominal charge (around Rs. 200). Alternately, the payment can also be made through a credit card which has global acceptance. The successful PG Diploma holders and a few Honours/ Masters degree holders in Economics or the Business School having substantial courses in Economics are eligible to apply for the Masters programme. As both the Diploma and Masters programmes are full time and classes are carried out during daytime, service holders are required to take leave or at least take permission from the authority to enroll in these programmes. There is a provision for enrollment of five international students in each programme, if they fulfill the requirements for enrollment to the respective programme.Enrolment to M. Phil. or Ph. D. programme is guided by the central regulations of the University of Dhaka.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Process of admission&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The seats are distributed among medical and non-medical students by 50%, and 30% seats are reserved for the female students.
